Gypsy School: Make A Pouch

Create Fabric Pouches to hold your booty and dogpounds. This event is hosted by Annalida, the Gypsy Elder of Kid’s Cove.

Friday 10AM – 11AM

Pirate Cork Ships 

Stop on by the cove and learn to create a cork pirate ship. This activity might be followed up by having boat races so stay tuned! Facilitated by: Angel Tanner

Hukilau Dance

A Hukilau is a way of fishing invented by the ancient Hawaiians. The word comes from huki, meaning pull, and lau, meaning leaves.  A festive beach gathering is also known to local Hawaiians as a hukilau, and there is a traditional song and dance known as the hukilau, a scattered line dance. Gypsy Magic Sticks

Smalls, come design your Magic Gypsy Sticks with bright paint, glitter, fabric, and beads. Hang them from trees to blow wishes in the breeze, set them by your pillow for good dreams, make a small one to keep in your pocket for luck. Let the creative spirits guide you! Facilitated by: Angel Tanner

Hula Dance

The Hula Dance originated as a form of worship. Hula is the language of Hawaii’s past as there was no written language so this was how they passed their history of Hawaii down generations. The dance is about the story. It is done to the beat of the drum or gourd/epu. The hands tell the story while the hips keep the rhythm. You will learn the basic moves and we will put a dance together by the end with a lot of fun in between. Facilitated by: Sophie B

Adventures with Admiral Frog

After Candy Cannon the most popular mascot of Seadogs will show up and be an escort the Candy Cannon event in cleanup and adventure educating the children how to cleanup properly. The Kids Cove will show the talls how it’s done with Admiral Frog! YARR!

Gypsy School: Coin Belts

Join Annalida Loc Mitzen, the Gypsy Elder of Kid’s Cove as she hosts her ever most popular coin belt workshop. This is a great garb making class for Pirate and Gypsy smalls. Made with Fabric and Real coins too!
