Dog of the Sea-Dawg Bowl

Grab your mates, join the fun and obliterate your enemies in the 2010 Dawg Bowl. The Dawg Bowl is a slight variation of the game “Minute to Win It”. Five teams total, with each team consisting of five players can compete. Each team will elect one member at a time to compete in each of a series of games. After the players are chosen, the draw of a card will determine which game will be played. The competing members will attempt to be the first to successfully complete the tasks required to win the individual game. For the next game, a new player is elected by each team and a new game is drawn. The play continues until all games have been completed. There will be five games, one for each member of a team. Tie-breakers will be played if needed. This event is limited to five teams so arrive on time with your entire team present. The first five teams to arrive at the appointed place and time will compete to become the Dawg Bowl champions of 2010. The team with the most wins after all games have been played will win the top prize of $20,000 dog pounds, 2nd wins $13,000 dog pounds and last but not least, 3rd place takes home $7,000, plus a prize for each place. The winning teams Captain will be given the prize/Dog Pounds to divvy up as they see fit.  The rules of each game within the competition will be provided during the competition. Just show up (on time) with a team of 5 people and show us how it is done. Some events may be physically demanding (lifting/running) so please take care of your bad backs, knobby knees and peg legs.

Time: Saturday @ 1pm.

Place: To be announced, based on availability. Dawg Bowl location will be posted at the Scuttlebutt prior to the contest, and listen for the Herald for updated information.
